Career Summary

An animator is someone who creates motion graphics or animations. This could be in the form of characters, objects, or backgrounds.
-----------------------------------------------
As an animator, I have the ability to produce realistic and believable characters and environments, as well as have them interact with their environment credibly.
I have a knack for combining hand-drawn animation techniques with modern digital tools. This helps me create visuals that are both visually appealing and technically impressive. In addition to my technical prowess, I also have an eye for color and composition that helps me make my animations stand out. My attention to detail, combined with my ability to tell a story with my visuals, makes me a sought-after animator. On the other hand, there are some drawbacks to my approach.
My animations are limited to two-dimensional vector animations. This limits the level of detail and realism I am able to achieve, and it takes more time to create animations. Additionally, some clients may prefer the look of more realistic 3D animations, which I cannot provide.
-----------------------------------------------
In addition, my attention to detail can sometimes be a bit too much, and it can make my animations look busy or cluttered. For example, I tend to include too many small movements, which can make my animations seem overwhelming.
I may need to step back and simplify my work to achieve a better overall look.Animating with 2D techniques is like baking a cake from scratch—there are many steps to follow, and it can be time-consuming. On the other hand, using digital tools is more like buying a cake from the store. This is quick and easy, but it may not have the same level of quality and detail. But at least the store-bought cake won't be a disaster like my first attempts at animating! I was bad at animating when I first started, but I quickly realized that I could get better results by taking a step back and simplifying my process.
To improve, I began to focus on the basics of animation and look for simple solutions, instead of trying to create complex animations right away. This helped me to create animations that were much more polished and professional looking.
As Coco Chanel once said: “Simplicity is the keynote of all true elegance.”
Self Narrative

I'm Ester.I'm just a girl born in 2007.
Dreamy and creative. There are a bunch of animations I've done for all ages.
-----------------------------------------------
My dream is to reach the top and make my fans part of my big family.
I'm motivated by the desire to bring joy to people and make them smile. I'm also constantly learning and developing my craft, as I want to ensure that I'm always up-to-date with the latest trends and studies. Furthermore, I'm confident that I have the potential to reach the top and fulfill my dreams.
-----------------------------------------------
Getting influenced by trendy animations from 2016, I found out that being an animator would allow me to express myself through animations and drawings.
The ability to draw my favorite characters and make them move through frames may not make me a divine creator. However, it excites me to see how much power a pencil and an eraser can do. Animation allows me to bring my ideas to life and turn them into a tangible form. It also gives me the opportunity to show the world my creativity and imagination through the characters I create. Plus, animation has become an incredibly popular medium over the past few years, so I know that there is a significant demand for my work.
The global animation market is estimated to be worth US$ 298.2 million in 2022 and is forecast to reach a size of US$ 519.6 million by 2028. So I won't feel any regret for being something I was born to be.
-----------------------------------------------
Animation is also an incredibly versatile medium, allowing me to explore many themes, tones, and styles. It also offers me the unique opportunity to reach a large, diverse audience through multiple platforms. With the right combination of creativity and technical expertise, I can create something truly special and have it seen by millions of people around the world. But let's stop talking about animation, let's talk about other things I'm very proficient at! Did you know I am a talented athlete? I have been playing volleyball since 2019.
-----------------------------------------------
Volleyball has helped me develop some critical skills such as agility, coordination, and teamwork. It has also given me an appreciation for the importance of physical fitness. Playing volleyball has also given me a better understanding of the importance of dedication and perseverance.
-----------------------------------------------
And what about music? In my opinion, I'm a really skilled musician.
If I know what I have to do, in the next hours I will be finishing the melody to it! For example, I recently composed a song and was able to compose it in one or two weeks.
This is because I stayed dedicated and put in the work necessary to finish it.
However, some people may argue that talent is more important than dedication and perseverance when it comes to music.
For example, Mozart is considered one of the greatest composers of all time, and he was a prodigiously talented musician.
It is arguable that he would not have been able to achieve the same level of success if he had not been born with a natural talent for music.I feel like being an artist in general can open up a lot of possibilities to express yourself, and it's also an amazing way to spend your time. Even when I doubted myself, I kept going forward because there was nothing left for me to lose, so to sum up: giving up won't open the doors you expect. So always keep on dreaming!
Nabil N. Jamal wrote: “Whether you dream big or dream small, chances are your dream will come true if you believe in it and really work hard on it.”
My journey

When I was 8 years old, I wanted to learn how to draw and animate. I entered the animation community and I saw so many talented artists in this community, and that's when I knew. I wanted that too!
-----------------------------------------------
Creating characters and presenting my talents to the world is a wonderful experience. Despite that, I didn't take it seriously or make it something significant. I was a kid with a huge ego when it came to showing myself off, so I thought I could learn animation and art by myself.
It wasn't possible, of course. My art wasn't even good enough to produce animation. Let's not even talk about my animation quality.
Using an iPod and a phone to make animation wasn't something new in the animation community. However, seeing amazing quality animations created by a mobile app made me finally realize my lack of experience and practice was the reason behind my terrible spirits. Eventually, I decided to check out some YouTube channels to learn how to draw. Not gonna lie, I tried to avoid using search references. This is because I wanted to avoid being perceived as a cheater in art. Besides, making art is supposed to be something you 100% made all by yourself, something to be proud of, right? Yea, the youngster had a point, but that's just not how it is. YouTube's algorithm then began to suggest related content, which made it easier for me to find relevant tutorials and drawing styles. With the help of the algorithm, I was able to explore various drawing techniques and create my own unique style. The algorithm also has its own disadvantages. For example, it can cause people to get stuck in a filter bubble, only seeing content that is similar to what they have already viewed.
-----------------------------------------------
This can limit creativity and the exploration of creative ideas. For instance, once I had watched a few tutorials on how to draw anime characters, the algorithm kept recommending more tutorials on the same topic. Therefore, I had to actively search for more relevant content. It was enlightening to remember that ''practice makes perfection'' or ''search for references''. However, was that enough to be a successful artist in general? And the answer is 'no'. Its way was more complicated than you think. Sometimes the problem that your animation stinks (sorry for my erroneous wording) is because of the program you are using.
-----------------------------------------------
To truly become a successful artist, one must take into account a multitude of factors beyond simple practice or research, such as the software being utilized. And of course finding a comfortable way to create your art. And yes, using special brushes to make realistic hair is not cheating. Using a symmetric ruler to create a flawless front view of a face is not cheating. It's more like a hack, a hack you should take advantage of.
Luckily, I cared about having these brushes, but imagine how I would have felt if I didn't. Typically, my work would take up to 6 to 10 hours. Imagine without personalized brushes? So I guess you could say my brushes are the secret to my success.
-----------------------------------------------
My skills as an artist improved when I started participating in animation maps.
However, the problem was not if the creator would put me on a map or not, it was if the creator would cancel the MAP or not! Which was kinda frustrating. Later on, I would choose a different direction and make my own work. And that's when I got some ideas (and changed some too)
